How we pack a two-wheeler
Packing a bike well takes skill. Our team first wraps the most delicate parts such as the headlight, indicators, mirrors, meter console and fuel tank in foam and bubble wrap. Corrugated sheets are then wrapped around the whole bike and fixed with tape and stretch film, leaving the wheels free for loading. For high-value or sports bikes, we can build a wooden frame around the bike for extra protection.
Preparing your bike for transport
- Keep only a little fuel in the tank, just enough to ride it onto the ramp.
- Remove helmets, bags, phone holders and other accessories, or hand them over to be packed separately.
- Note any existing scratches or dents so they are recorded in the condition report.
- Hand over a copy of the RC and insurance. Keep the originals with you.
- For electric scooters, tell us about the battery type so we can follow safe handling rules.
Bike transport with your household move
If you are also moving your home with us, your bike can travel in the same container as your household goods. It is packed and tied in a separate section of the truck. This keeps everything on one schedule and often costs less than sending the bike separately.
