What is included in our household shifting service

• Free pre-move survey at your home or on a video call, so the quote is based on your actual goods.
• Room-wise packing with bubble wrap, foam sheets, corrugated rolls, stretch film and strong 5-ply cartons.
• Special packing for glass, crockery, idols, mirrors, LED TVs, computers and other fragile items.
• Furniture dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes, dining tables and modular units.
• Appliance handling for fridges, washing machines, microwaves and air conditioners (AC uninstall and reinstall on request).
• Loading and unloading by our own staff, including flats without a lift.
• Transport in a tempo, a covered truck or a closed container, depending on the size and distance of the move.
• Unpacking and placement of furniture and cartons in the right rooms at your new home.
• Debris removal of used packing material after unpacking.

How we plan a home move

A good move starts long before moving day. During the survey we list every item, note fragile and high-value pieces, check floor and lift access at both ends and suggest the right vehicle. You then receive a written quote that lists exactly what is included. On the day before the move, your coordinator confirms the arrival time of the team and the vehicle.

On moving day the packing team arrives with all material. Kitchen items and showpieces are packed first, then clothes and books, and finally furniture and appliances. Every carton is numbered and labelled with the room name and a short description, and we give you a packing list. The goods are loaded with the heaviest items at the bottom and fragile cartons on top, and tied securely so nothing shifts during transport.

Home shifting within Surat and to other cities

For local moves within Surat, most 1 BHK and 2 BHK homes are packed, moved and unloaded on the same day. We know the city well, including the narrow lanes of the old city near Chowk Bazaar and Mahidharpura, the high-rise societies of Vesu and Pal, and the traffic on Ring Road and Udhna Darwaja, so we plan timings to avoid delays.

For intercity moves, your goods travel in a closed container truck, either dedicated to your move or shared with other consignments going in the same direction. Dedicated trucks are faster, while shared loads cost less. We explain both options, give you an estimated delivery date and share updates while the truck is on the road.

What affects the cost of household shifting

• The volume of goods, which usually depends on the size of the home (1 BHK, 2 BHK, 3 BHK and so on).
• The distance between the old and new home, and whether the move is local or intercity.
